Frequently Asked Questions

The short answers — long answers available by email.

Do you sell on other platforms besides this website?

Yes. You will find our inventory listed across a handful of collector forums, eBay, and a few other marketplaces depending on the piece. We try to keep everything in sync, but if you spot one of our watches elsewhere and would rather buy direct, just reach out. We're always happy to work with you straight from the source — and you'll usually get a better price for the trouble. If you are risk adverse, there is always eBay and their Authentication program, but that will come at an added cost to you.

Are the photos on each listing of the actual watch?

Yes, but we tend to mix manufacturer stock photos alongside our own shots of the actual watch you'd receive. This is especially true for pieces where the stock imagery shows off details better than we ever could. It should be obvious which photos are which.

Look, we'll be honest: photography isn't exactly our jam. We're watch people, not studio shooters, and our lightbox setup is more "kitchen counter" than "Madison Avenue." If you'd like additional photos or a quick video of a specific piece in hand, just ask — we're glad to send them.

What payment methods do you accept?

Pretty much everything: PayPal, wire transfer, Zelle, certified check, and cash for local Denver pickup. We can usually accommodate just about anything else you'd prefer. No chickens or goats please. 😆

One important note: watches priced over $3,000 may not be eligible for PayPal due to their processing limits and risk policies on high-value items. For those pieces, a bank wire is typically the cleanest path.

The short version: just email us and we'll figure out the best option together. We've never let a payment method get in the way of a good deal.

I am NOT local and out of state, you ship right?

Yes. We ship but you will not recive the local pickup discount.

Do you take trades?

Maybe. Email us with what you have, and what you are offering.

Can I haggle with you?

We'd prefer you didn't. We price competitively and based on condition. Condition is everything. We are sure you can find cheaper, but probably not in the same, tested, condition. Low ball offers will be ignored. We are comfortable sitting on inventory until the right person comes along.

How does consignment work, I am local to you?

Buy us lunch, dinner, coffee, beer. But seriously, if you are a friend, and local, just shoot us an email, we can figure it out.

Have we met?

There is a good chance. If you attend Mile High Watches events, RedBar Denver events, and/or some of the local retailer events our paths have most likely crossed.

Do you work with dealers or other businesses (B2B)?

Absolutely. We're open to working with fellow dealers, jewelers, and trade partners — whether that's sourcing specific references, bulk inquiries, trades, or ongoing consignment arrangements.

If you're in the business and want to talk shop, drop us a line at sales@teninwatches.com and let's see what we can put together.
